Photographic impressions from Nawabganj Bird Sanctuary,Uttar Pradesh,India.

Nawabganj bird Sanctuary is located midway on Lucknow Kanpur highway near Unnao. It is spread on an area of approximately three Sq.Km.The sanctuary has an shallow lake and surrounding woods which houses a large no.of Indian and seasonal migratory birds. This year after a gap of many years this sanctuary is witnessing the arrival of many migratory birds. Although it is early time for the winter season in today's visit I was able to spot a few birds whose photographs I am posting in this post.It is hoped that in the month of December we will be seeing the arrival of large no. of birds thanks to the efforts of forest and District officials and bountiful rainfall this season this sanctuary is seeing revival of its fortunes.
